Striking Sahbra continues to dominate OSS program

Striking Sahbra, the sire of three of Randon Bros. Stables young prospects, is dominating the lucrative Ontario Sire Stakes program in his first two years of competition across the border. The 2 yr. old Offspring of the super sire made in excess of $1,400,000 in OSS competition in 2005 with the next closest sire, Angus Hall accumulating $790,000. In 2006, Striking Sahbra finished in a virtual deadheat with the other great Canadian trotting sire, Angus Hall. Striking Sahbra offspring ended up with earnings of over $2.3 million dollars in 100 fewer starts than Angus Hall. The dominance of Ontario's newest super sire is encouraging news for the value of the two young fillies and colt sired by Striking Sahbra in the Randon Stable. Adding to the excitement, these young prospects are from a stakes winning Balanced Image broodmare, Psychic Image.
